Cody is available for adoption at the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter"Cody" Is Cool!

UPDATE: ADOPTED ON 9/25/13

Cody is pure elegance in motion!  He is a 3 year old, neutered male, brown and black Doberman Pinscher/Greyhound mix.  He weighs 78 pounds.  Cody has been at the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter since July 7, 2013.

Cody is a very regal dog who is easy to handle because he walks well with his person on a loose leash and is very calm.  He is always anxious to get out of his kennel and into the yard.  Fortunately he has many volunteers who love him and have made comments like "great dog" about him.  He has a beautiful galloping gait when he runs in the yard.  On walks through the neighborhood, he has done beautifully.

Cody is a gentle dog who loves people.  He does no jump and knows his manners.  He sits on command and loves treats.  Cody is completely crate-trained and will take his toy and his bully stick and go into the crate for a nap.  Cody has been with several other dogs and, except for his size which makes him tower over all of the other dogs, he has done fine.

Cody is a magnificent dog who, with the right person, will make an outstanding companion.  Cody needs a forever home with love and security.  Please help him find that home.  When contacting the shelter for more information about Cody, be sure to use his ID# A1174324 as a reference.  Photo/video credit:  Debbie Fan, Twitter @blackjackbarks
