Gracie is available for adoption at West Los Angeles Animal ShelterEverybody Loves "Gracie"

UPDATE: ADOPTED 9/15/13

Gracie looks so sad in her photo, and I guess that nothing would make her happier than to find a forever home.  Gracie was found as a stray on August 5, 2013, and was brought to the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter.  She is a 4 year old, spayed female, gray American Pit Bull Terrier.  She weighs 59 pounds.

Gracie is a shelter favorite.  She is described as being very sweet and friendly. She is easy to take out of her run.  She likes nothing better than to lie on her back and get a tummy rub.  That could easily be her favorite pastime, although she loves to play ball also.  She knows her Sit and Down commands.

Gracie has a very gentle and sweet temperament, and she would make a great family dog.  One of the volunteers who has worked with her commented, "I love this dog!"  This pretty much describes what a great dog Gracie is.  She needs a forever home.  Please don't let the shelter be her last home.  When contacting the shelter for more information about Gracie, be sure to use her ID# A14140747 as a reference.  Photo/video credit:  Debbie Fan, Twitter @blackjackbarks
