Meme is available for adoption at West Los Angeles Animal ShelterCall Me "Meme" - That's My Name!

She was found as a stray on September 2, 2013 and brought to the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter.  Surely someone would come looking for this wonderful dog but they never did.  Meme is a 4 year old, unaltered female, black and white Labrador Retriever mix.  She weighs 57 pounds.

The comment that the volunteers who have worked with Meme make over and over gain is how very sweet she is.  She is puppy-ish, playful and loves to play ball.  She enjoys playing in the water.  Meme likes and is good with children.  She allows herself to be touched without any problem.  She is a very well-adjusted, happy dog.

Meme sits on command, waits and goes down.  She walks on-leash, is extremely responsive and listens to commands.

Meme is a wonderful dog who would make a great companion for a family.  Life in the shelter is no fun for this dog who enjoys life and loves people.  Please help Meme find her forever home.  When contacting the shelter for more information about Meme, be sure to use her ID# A1421066 as a reference.  Photo/video credit:  Debbie Fan, Twitter @blackjackbarks
