Roxy is available for adoption at West Los Angeles Animal Shelter
"Roxy" Is A Survivor!

UPDATE: AVAILABLE THRU MEADE ANIMAL SANCTUARY 805-239-4004

Roxy had a home once!  She even had a best friend names Tiger, a 12 year old Shepherd mix, that she had grown up with.  In a brief moment, it was all lost.  Her owner died in a tragic accident, and Roxy and her friend were surrendered to the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter on August 26, 2013.  Tiger was adopted within days, and not Roxy is all along.

Roxy is a 12 year old, spayed female, black and tan Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix.  She weighs 75 pounds, however, appears quite thin and is on extra meals.  She has a great appetite.

Roxy is one of the most gentle, loving dogs you will ever meet.  She is quiet and willing to follow.  She is a fairly low energy dog and is extremely responsive to attention given by her person.  Se walks very well on-leash and does not react at all to the other dogs in the shelter.

Roxy is recovering well from skin issues brought on by fleas and fly bites.  She is eating well and still has a zest for life.  She needs a forever home away from the stress of life in the shelter.  Please don't let this sweet, gentle dog live out her last days in a cage at the shelter.  When contacting the shelter for more information about Roxy, be sure to use her ID# A1419432 as a reference.  Photo/video credit:  Debbie Fan, Twitter @blackjackbarks
