Network Adoptable Pets…Network Your Pet Business!

If you've seen my website, read my tweets or perused my FB posts, you know that I'm a pet first aid/CPR instructor as well as a pet sitter/dog walker in West Los Angeles. You also know that I'm a HUGE proponent of pet adoption, especially since as a volunteer at the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter, I see the thousands of pets in need that go through that shelter alone every year. So I'm tooling around the internet the other day, and I found this great little network that totally "spoke" to me: Pet Professionals 4 Pet Adoption.

Pet Professionals 4 Pet Adoption (PP4PA) is "a network of dedicated business professionals who encourage pet adoption, who are local community pet advocates, and who give back to their pet community in some way." When I read this on the PP4PA website, I'm like, "Wow, they're talking about me!" PP4PA's goal is to make connections happen whether in times of networking for a pet in need, or when searching for like-minded pet care services/business to build lasting relationships.

Are you a pet care professional? Own a pet-related business? Trying to improved the quality of the homeless pets in your community? if so, join me and other like-minded pet-loving folk by becoming a member of Pet Professionals 4 Pet Adoption at www.pp4pa.com. PP4PA has developed a national network of us pet business professionals that assist in networking and advocating for pets in need. At the same time, we can promote our business to our local community and across the world wide web. Everybody wins!

To join PP4PA, you must be a pet business professional and adhere to the best of your ability to any one of the following philosophies:

• Raise awareness about the importance of pet adoption with your local community
• Encourage/educate customers about the benefits of pet adoption
• Volunteer for local pet rescue groups/shelters or give back to the pet community in some way
• Promote pet adoption on their website, blog or social media profiles
• Provide guidance to pet owners in need who struggle to care for their pets due to times of hardship

If you're a pet business owner (like me) and you already do one of the above activities (like me), then you're qualified to join PP4PA (like me)!
